Your camera is a mini DVD-RAM model and as such does not need to be 'seen' by Video Studio. In other words, you don't have to connect the camera to the computer at all. Instead, you treat the mini DVD it produces as you would any other DVD -- you put it in your computer's DVD drive. Then you either use the Insert DVD/DVD-VR command in Video Studio, which will open a module which should show you the structure of the mini-DVD and you choose which elements you want to download. (Remember to put a check mark in the little boxes to the left of each Title in this list.) Or else you copy the contents of the mini DVD to your hard drive, and re-name the files which have a .VOB extension to have .mpg as their extension.
With some of these sorts of cameras, you have to first finalise the disc in the camera before inserting it in the computer, but I am sorry -- I don't know whether you have to do so with your camera.
