PSPX3 gets frozen and works really poorly.Help!

Post by Marisa »

Hello to everybody and thank you in advance for your help.
Today my PSP X3 suddenly became totally unreliable and instable.
The program gets frozen, stuck or automatically closed when I try to utilize some tool to edit photos, particularly Digital camera noise removal and other Noise removal tools.
I have tried to work to retouch a photo, but then suddenly all my work gets lost and the program gets closed by itself.
I have not any idea of what’s happening.
I’m very annoyed by that!

Every suggestion is deeply welcome.

Best

Hello Marisa,

Here are some of the steps that you can take.

1. Download and install all updates from this URL: http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 9872271743
2. After download all the updates and the same thing happens. Then you can perform a clean reinstallation by manually removing the program then reinstall PaintShop Photo Pro X3 from your original Downloaded file or CD ROM.

I’m seriously annoyed.
I had already updated PSP X3 from the same link you gave me and most of my problems had started exactly after that update.
So I followed carefully your instruction to uninstall PSP X3 and all Corel files from my computer, then I tried to reinstall the program.
After doing it I could not open it at all, I received a message of error telling me the copy was damaged.
So I uninstalled all once again and I got another reinstallation file from my account at Corel, taking the link form my order.
I installed all again, I was asked for my serial number, I copied and pasted it and the download procedure started.
When it was completed once again I tried to open the program, but I received always the same message informing me that the copy was either corrupted or illegal( even though I downloaded it from Corel web site, my account page with my regular serial number.
So now I have not any working program at all, I deeply annoyed!!!!!
In the Corel web site there is not any place where I can find a solution for that, they always direct me to the forum, so I came to the forum and this is what happened to me.
Now I’m going to sleep because in the part of the world where I live is night.
I wonder how I can finish my work on photos I have to retouch tomorrow….
If anyone can help me, I’ll be grateful.
