Hi, I am trying to create a photo book in project creator but it is so slow bringing in the thumbnails and then it takes FOREVER to be able to change directories within my pictures folder and I do not mean a minute or 10 I mean like 15 mins.
Is this thing Windows 7 ready at all?
I run windows 7 home premium 64 bit
6 gig ram
2 TB of Hard drive space.
This thing really should have been tested better before a release. I mean I know it's an "extra" but extra hassle?
If anyone know of any tweaks please let me know.
Thank you,
Randy T.

Re: Project Creator Photo Book runs SLOW
Hello Randy T,
If the Project Creator is slow, you may want to follow these steps.
1. Close Corel PaintShop Photo Project Creator.
2. Launch Window Task Manager; to open Windows Task Manager, right-click an empty space on the taskbar, and then click Task Manager.
3. In the Windows Task Manager, go to Processes tab.
4. In the Processes tab, make sure that the following Processes are not running on your computer:
- MetadataMgr.exe
- MLEMonitor.exe
- RtDevDetector.exe
5. If any of the above are still running on your system, right-click on each Processes and select End Process or End Process Tree.
6. After making sure that the above processes are no longer running, go to taskbar and click on START >> RUN;
7. In the RUN window, type: %appdata%
8. Hit the enter key to open the Application Data folder.
9. Double-click on Corel folder and then double-click on Digital Studio folder.
10. Delete all the files and folders inside this "Digital Studio" folder.
11. Close this folder and re-launch PaintShop Photo Project Creator.

Re: Project Creator Photo Book runs SLOW
Did that and it's a no go. I don't know if it's because of the 64 bit version of windows or not...but when I try to create a album and click on a folder to use those files it litterally takes forever to bring them in to the view window...PSP itself does it instantly. Something is def wrong here....
