Samples missing from library in VS9

Post by rowladar »

Hi,
perhaps I'm being dumb :?: :!: :?: - but I install my boxed upgrade of VS9 and when I look in my library I only see the following (and this is before I install the Bonus CD with "more" content...)

15 Titles
1 Object (an uparrow - D01.png)
1 Frame (an underwater face mask F01.tif)

Is this a hangover from having installed the demo version previously (despite uninstalling before loading the full upgrade)?

Am I correct in assuming that I should see all of the objects/frames that are in the Samples/Decoration folder?

HOW DO I FIX THIS (don't say uninstall and reinstall cos I've tried that!

Finally, how much more should I see if I install the bonus CD stuff?

thanks in advance!

If the files are in the Samples/Decoration folder under "Ulead VideoStudio 9.0" then simply import them into the appropriate library panels using the 'opening folder' icon to the right of the library panel name.

If you browse the content disc without installing it you will be able to see what additional files are available to you.

thanks - but why didn't they install/import into the library automatically?

How do I know everything else has installed correctly?

Daran.

Well thats a good question - the only good answer I can think of though is "because it's a computer" - You'll only know if anything else is missing if you compare with another installation or find that something you want to use is not there.
