Footage from my Sony HDV camcorder was captured and edited in MSP8 without any problem. I burned a blu ray (BD-RE) with DMF 7 Pro with SubMagic subtitles. So far everything went great and in the DMF preview the subtitles were where they had to be.
WinDVD 2010 Pro however does not show the subtitles which are definitely on the blu ray disc. On the location of the subtitle there is “blib” in a split second and I can see the contour of the title, but that’s all what I experience behind my computer. Playing the film however in my blu-ray disc player Sony BDP-S370 the film is just perfect and the subtitles are where they should be. Working in SD with MSP8/DMF7Pro and SubMagic never gave me this problem, so my question is whether WinDVD or my computer, or the combination could be the “troublemaker”. Is there anyone with the same experience and/or suggestion how to solve this. My computer has RAM 3,25 Pentium Dual Core E 5300, 1,2 Ghz, NVIDIA G100, C: 460 GB, D:620 GB.
