Pro 3 - file linking
I have recently installed Windows 7. But when I try ot open a project I was working on in Corel pro 3 (when I had XP), it says the file is already in use. Can anyone help me locate and link my files please?

Not much to go on there Libby,
Did you install Win7 from XP or Vista?
We'll start there...we'll probably have dozens more questions to ask so I'm gonna have to beg you to answer with as much information possible

Sorry. I had XP Home and have done a clean install to Windows 7 Home Premium. Now when I try to open my exisitjng VSP project, it says "file alreadyin use". I do find Corel very hard to contact by the way. I wish they had what Adobe has - remote in on the computer.

Success! I tried "laundering" the project files through an external HDD using Windows XP OS. Then I went back into Pro 3 via Windows 7 OS and opened them. There were a few JPEGs and music files that had to be relinked but they were not a problem. I thought you might like to know what I did to fix the problem.

Thanks libby for posting the solution... W7 has a completely different file & directory structure.
