Hi. I completed a DVD project and burned a rough copy. I wanted to adjust some minor things like volume of wav. files. I went to burn the new updated project (I saved it and I selected the over ride option when prompted) but the new version didn't burn, only the rough copy. What did I do wrong?
My project was 25 min. 41 sec. long, I used 8000bps at constant rate. I did use a lot of wav. files if that makes a difference.
Thanks,
Vinny

Difficult to say exactly what you did 'wrong' but perhaps it will help if I tell you what I do in similar circumstances - first , not sure why you burned a 'rough copy' , in the Create disc module you can use the psuedo remote to play your video exactly as it will appear on disc, so you see the final production without using a disc.
Anyrate - having decided that additional editing is needed I re-open the project and carry out the required editing - having finished it and saved the project I go 'Share >> Create Video File' then create a DVD compliant mpeg2 file giving it a unique name (such as add 01to the project name) and save it in the project working folder. Next I delete everything in the timeline, I find it easiest to do this by simply going 'File >> new project' which empties the timeline, then go 'Share >> Create Disc' - if there is anything at all in the timeline when the burn module opens , delete it completely, then import your brand new mpeg file and burn that to disc. If you intend to use the disc burn set up again save this project with a new name such as "Projectname DVD" this allows you to re-open and tweek just the burn section without having to start from scratch again.
I have never had a problem burning the wrong project to disc using that method
