Update - PaintShop Photo® Pro X3 User Guide in TBYB

Post by Radim »

Hello,

it is posible to update in TBYB /in next release/ this User Guide. Even in latest 13.2.041 there is still User Guide for X2 ?
I have to separately/manualy download it from - http://corel.custhelp.com/app/answers/d ... _id/764421

Thank you.

I am not sure I fully understand the point your making Radim - it has always been necessary to download the user manual for all Corel/Ulead trial products and for products which you download - this is readily available on the Corel website at the location you have linked to - but it is not news - links to manuals have previously been posted in these forums - the most recent mention being here :- http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... 15#p206091 .

Thank You for quick answer.

Not necessary. For example: Trial version PSP X2 Czech at - http://apps.corel.com/int/cz/products/psppx2/index.html has all in installation. I mean User manual (.PDF) and Html Help file (.CHM), these all are in install package. So therefore I wrote.

Let me see if I can't interpret what Radim is asking.
'
Radim either means:
In the second post he points out that the Czech x2 version comes with the guide as part of the download. However, he's also saying that in his download of the X3 version it came with the X2 guide not the X3 guide. He wants to know if that can be fixed because it forced him to download the X3 version specifically.

Or:
In the Czech X2 version the guide came as part of the download contradicting your claim that the guide had to be downloaded in all trial/download versions of Paint Shop Pro. And he wants the same thing in X3, the HTML (Microsoft Help file) was installed on the computer with X2 but in X3 it's online (requiring internet access to read) and the PDF was not available until after the installer was made so you are forced to download that as well.

Hello Radim,

I'm Abiel from Corel Support. I really cannot understand where your going however, allow me to explain a few things about the PSP X3 userguide. When PSP X3 was first released, where was no printed manual nor PDF manual, there was only the Online Help, which you can access by clicking on HELP > HELP TOPICS... or by visiting this link. After receiving a number of "request" for a printed manual, Corel then created the PDF copy of the user guide which you can download from our KB Article 764421. So that means what ever edition of PSP X3 (Education, TBYB, Pro, Ultimate) you are using, you can download the user's manual from that article and that's the only place where you can download the user guide.

I hope that answers your question.
