HOW TO EDIT A PHOTO IN SLIDESHOW

Post by shakeyone »

Can you tell me how to edit a photo/frame in Slideshow. In the book (page 30) the edit room page looks totally different. The one that comes up on the Slideshow is very basic and I can't work out how to fade out music or edit the pan and zoom on each individual frame/photo. Sometimes it cuts off the top of peoples heads. Also, I can't work out how to put a personal message at the end of the DVD.

Hello shakeyone,

If you want to edit a photo that was used or being used in a slideshow, then you will need to edit the file itself using a photo editing program like PaintShop Pro. If you know where the image is located on your program then you can just open it using PaintShop Pro. But if you downloaded a videoslideshow, since the photo was alreaded rendered into a video, then there is way for you to edit the photo itself you can just edit the frame or part of the slideshow where the photo that you are referring is located, you will then need to use a video editing program and the best editing progam that you can use is VideoStudio and not the basic editing feature of DVD Movie Factory.

You can download the trial version of both the Paintshop Pro and VideoStudio by going to http://www.corel.com/trials.
