I cannot work on the video for more than 5 minutes in editing mode before it crashes. I have quite a few crossfades etc however, I have a fairly good computer with a decent graphics card. I have updated all the latest driver. Not sure why except it may have something to do with swapdrive. I have 16 Gig left on my C drive, where the program resides, but 300 gig where the working file resides. The fact that I have 2 drives shouldn't affect it. I have asked the help desk and they worked for quite a while but without success. How about the fact that I am on windows 7 at 64bit rate. It should make it better as it can access all 8 gig, but one can see it straining for resources.
Intel dual core E8200 chipset, ATI Radeo HD3750 x2 500 per side, 8 gig RAM, Windows 7 professional.
Any ideas?

You don't tell us much of anything about your project, such as the types of clips you are using. Heck, we don't even know what version of VS you are using. Please read the following and supply the requested info.

Hello martyrb,
I'm Abiel from Corel Support. Black Lab is correct you may want to read the post from http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8959, anyhow, I can see that you are using Windows 7 (64-bit), if you are using any version of VideoStudio other than version X3, then your Videostudio is not compatible with windows 7, you can try the work around that Microsoft has created in order for old program to work on Windows 7, you can follow the steps from this link. But if you are using the latest version VideoStudio Pro X3, then this version is fully compatible with Windows 7, in this case you may want to make sure that your program is fully updated. To do that just visit : http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 0460544373 to download all available update for your program.
