Re-install DVDMF7SE

Post by erdna »

I uninstalled DVDMF7SE because I wanted to try the full version. Now I want MF7SE back. VSX3 tells me that the update is available, but I can't get it. Do I have to fully re-install VSX3 in order to get it added again?

Hi erdna

An older post had a link to the MF7SE download
http://www.corel.com/akdlm/6763/downloa ... orVSX3.exe
I had some problem with this link selecting the trial page instead of the download.
If you have problems try the older post link.

After installing I do not know if MF7 will show via X3 but should be available from the PC’s Start Menu

Hi

I don’t understand why I sometimes get the trial web page, then other times I get a download window.
Ok try this

http://www.corel.com/akdlm/6763/downloa ... orVSX3.exe

Thank you very much Trevor. Finally I got it back with your last link. Seems not simple to find a download link... It works OK again. The only difference is that it doesn't show up anymore with the "create disc" selection in VSX3 like it did before together with the MF2010 program. I have a shortcut on my desktop, and that's OK.

I thought that may be the case........Doesn't really matter as X3 closes when you open MF7 via Share Create Disc.

Indeed Trevor no problem when MF7SE isn't appearing in X3 . I wonder though if I would install Patch1 again (installed it before you helped me with my MFS7E problem). I remember a reply from ssj1805 were he suggested to install Patch1 in order to get MF7SE in VSX3

Hi

MF7SE as you know was an additional bit of software to replace the 2010.
In order for X3 to find the update they produced a patch, only after installing this patch would X3 find the update for MF7SE.

I think you would have to un-install / Re-install X3 completely to clear the registry before you could download via X3.
Effectively only X3 users could download MF7SE
Not to worry you have it working.
