Many Thanks
Yes but.... do you have ANY version of MovieFactory installed (DMF4 / DMF5 / DMF6 etc.)
Steve,
Installing DMF 7SE does not look for any earlier versions, just DVDMF 7 Pro. I've checked this on my desktop, WinXP, which has versions 4-7 on it now. I removed DVDMF 7 Pro only, and the SE version provided installs.

Rich,
Those DMF_Temp folders are created by either DVDMF or the burn module of VS pre-X3.

Hello Rich2Putt,

If you want to know if the DVD Movie Factory 7 Se is installed, you should be able to see it on the ALL PROGRAMS under the Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 folder. I took a screenshot for your reference.

Unfortunately, it did not install. I am awaiting to hear back from Corel for the link.

The update patch for VSpro X3_patch2 link that Steve suggested did not install MF7SE.

Hi

as far as I know you need VideoStudio Pro X3 Service Pack 1. installed.
This normally makes the MF7SE download available to X3.
Once service pack is installed.....
Go to the Check Updates, circular icon top right, opens new window,Then similar icon top right

Something is not right. The link says service patch 1, the Corel web site says service pack 1, but when I go to save the service pack, it states service pack2 ??? WTF.

The links that Corel sent me yesterday via email do not work so I am back to square one.
