Help With Subtitles

I am working on a project which involves subtitles. Something which I have never done before in DVD Workshop.
I have converted the srt file to txt but have never managed to get the correct timing. Any help will be appreciated.

I'm Abiel from Corel Support. If you want to add subtitle using DVD Workshop, you can follow the steps from this link.

If you don't mind, may I suggest that you try DVD Movie Factory 7 or Videostudio Pro X3 is you are working with Videos and DVDs.

Thanks for your reply. My problem is that subs start with good sync. but drift as the movie plays, to a point when they end up with about 5 seconds off. I have converted the file from srt to (DVD Workshop) txt type using Subtitle Workshop. I have checked the timing both in the srt file and the converted txt file and both match. However for some reason when I play the movie in DVD Workshop subtitles editor, although the timing shown on the track is correct the movie will slowly drift and sync. is gradualy lost. I have played the movie in WMP and the subs are perfectly in sync from start to end.
Regarding changeing my software. The problem is that I'm still using a P4 processor (with my ATI AGP capture card) and Videostudio Pro X3 requires a more advanced processor. As for using DVD Movie Factory 7. In my opinion while it could be better than DW2 in some ways, I find DW2 to be much better all around, exept for subtitles and wide screen menus.

I wrecked my barains testing all the sub editors iI managed to find before I found this solution.
You will have to use 2 applicatins: Subedit Player and Subtitle Workshop. Just Google for them and download they are freeware.
Run Subedit Player and import or drag your srt file. Save to the required fram rate. This is the only editor that has managed to keep the subtitles and the movie in sync from begining to end. Save the Subtitles in the default Subedit Player's txt format.
Load the saved file in Subtitle Workshop, make sure that the frame rate is correct and save to the Ulead DVD Workshop 2 format.
