VCD format small frame while running in Window Media Player

Post by bajodi »

I m a newbie. I have videoStudio 9 in which I tried to burn a CD for the following format: PAL/VCD/25fps. This VCD format does not allow me to increase the video size it only gives 352x 400. The final product I played on Window Media Player it gives a small box and not the full screen. Do u know where I m going wrong ???

The resolution of VCD disks is fixed, you cannot change it and remain compatible with the specification.

Windows Media Player by default plays a video in its original size. You can change that during playback by selecting a different size on the View -> Video Size menu, or by pressing an accelerator key (Alt-1 = 50%, Alt-2 = 100%, Alt-3 = 200%). You can also switch Windows Media Player to full-screen mode, but depending on your monitor size, this may have to scale up the video too much to look good.
