Hi Everyone
I have a problem with my OS (Win ME), which limits the maximum mpeg files size to 4 Gb.
This means that I have a problem when it comes to converting video files.
My current project consists of converting 90-120 minutes of analogue video to burn onto DVD.
I seem to have 2 options. Find a lowish bit rate, which will limit the file to under 4GB. (Generally about 4000kbs) or split the project into 2 or 3 parts and convert those at a higher rate (normally 6000kbs) and then put create a TS folder, which is then reduced by DVD Shrink.
The conundrum is that the latter method produces better quality (even after the shrink/squeeze) BUT when you play the resulting DVD it seems to pause between the different video files and pixelates for a second or two.
Is this normal with multiple videos on the same DVD?
Can I avoid it?
Many thanks for your time and patience in reading this and I hope it makes sense.
