Video studeo 9 reaches 99% then stops
When I try to create disk "Converting Video Title" reches 99% then stops.
I used to use video Studio 7 without problem.

Thank you for your reply.MikeGunter wrote:Hi,
The only problems I've had were in a faulty install.
Uninstall your version of VS, then making sure that no other programs are running, reinstall.
Mike
I used another H/Drive and installed with nothing else on it but XP, still same problem.
The one I am useing is trial version am reluctant to buy if I cannot get it workin.

THoff
If there is still constant hard disk activity when it hits 99%, I would give it more time to complete the process. I've recently converted a one hour DV AVI file to MPEG2 and noticed that UVS hit 99% "early", and the conversion process took another couple of minutes to complete. I don't recall running into that before with either UVS 8 or 9, but it happened this time. The conversion was successful in the end.
I ran into the same thing a THoff. It got to 99% fairly quick, then sat there for a while. Then it continued and finished. It was very deceiving, but I decided to wait for it. My project was pretty basic, 4 MPEG2 files and some titles. Nothing special, but more titles than I usually use.

Video Studeo 10 does the same thing: 99% of rendering
When I attempt to burn a DVD the rendering process stops at 99%. The progress bar states: Total Progress - Output disk - 99%
Detailed Progress - Finalizing VOB - 99%
Elapsed Time 7:36 - and it freezes there
All I have done is attempt to put 30 digital picture to a slideshow, which previews nicely with background music and transitions. The DVD never gets burned; it's empty. And after waiting 10 minutes, I click on "cancel" and the whole computer locks up and I have to reboot. Everything is lost.
PLEASE...Someone help, this is frustrating!!
I had the same issue with a download trial and a full version of Picture Studeo from Ulead.
Thanks..Ray!

With your edited slideshow in the timeline, do you go (as you should) first to Share > Create Video File > DVD to prepare a DVD-compatible mpeg-2 file? Or do you jump immediately to Share > Create Disc > DVD? Jumping the first step more often than not causes the sort of problem you are going through.

IT STILL FREEZES AT 99%
I created a video file first and it still freezes. I have also reinstalled with nothing else running. These are simple digital photos (Slideshow) with music and transitions (approx 30 pics) and when I try to burn to DVD+R or a VCD the same thing happens.
Please help I am frustrated

COULD it be...
that I am not saving the files correctly? Because I have waited for over an hour and it stays at 99%. Also these are PICS converted to a slideshow with music and transitions; Do I save it and burn to a DVD? Although I have also attempted a VCD was well and the same problem occurs. I also tried by using Wizard...same problem>

Format
Unfortunately the computer Video Studeo 10 is on is at home, along with my pictures and camera. However, I believe I have a 512 memory (although I may be wrong and it is more) on my computer and have Window XP Home. The camera is a Sony Mavica and the pics are on high quality.
Just got home: the pics are JPEG, 1280 X96, and 549 KM each.

I ALSO..
think that I might not be saving the Picture Slide Shows with transitions and background music or attempting to render or burn properly. The pics are JPEP, 1280 X96, and 549 KM.
Can anyone give me step by step instructions? The manual just shows how to do movies.
Thanks, Ray![/img]
