Using MF IV. I tried making a CD slideshow yesterday. It was about 110 MB's. It seemed to render and burn ok, the CD has about 120 mb's on it. But when I go to use it nothing happens except it opens up in Explorer window and shows about 6 directories. Only the bottom two or three have anything in them. I tried clicking on every file and nothing happened except it said it didn't know what program to open it up in. I guess I missed somethiing here. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks,

Did you make a "VCD" structure? Did it burn to a CD-R? If so, try putting it into your set-top dvd player to see if it will play VCD's.

For the PC, try downloading the PowerDVD Trial to play the VCD from your disc drive.

As George says, it sounds like you have created a VCD, Windows media player 9 has the ability to play a VCD under the 'Play' menu. Alternatively, in one of those folders is a file called something like AVSEQ001.dat (don't have a vcd handy so not sure exact name). This file can be played in windows media player

George and Greg, thank, don't know if I made the structure or not. Didn't do anything out of the ordinary except follow the prompts for making a CD slideshow and no it won't play in the CD recorder.
