Hello,
I'm running Corel Videostudio Pro X2 on Windows XP. I haven't had any problems doing a straight video and using some inserted images. For the first time I've tried just to use images (18 of them) with a music score--no video at all. I set everything up at timed intervals for the images to appear at certain points in the score and it seems to be fine. However, when I do a full playback, the images begin to lag in the range of 1-2 seconds behind the score. When I scroll back over just a short little section of one image, they sync up again. It doesn't stay in sync for longer ranges (playing from beginning to end--about 3:30 total). I have tried rendering in HD and the same thing occurs. This is for Youtube. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks!

What is the audio file format?
MP3's can cause odd problems, try it with a wav file

Hi
Welcome to the forum.
A bit strange, don’t think I have heard of this problem before.
Things to try….
1 / When you create the video file disable Smart Render. This is done from the save window-Options button.
2 / Render the images to a video file then add sound and render again.

Re: Images Lagging Behind Audio
Have transitions been inserted between the images? If so, that will changing the timing incrementally as you go along...

Thanks again for the replies to this issue.
Graham--it appears as if the mp3 was the problem. I tried it with a wav. file and all seems to be well.
Trevor--I will use your suggestions during rendering.
Ken--I've only used one transition but now that it appears to not be lagging, I might be able to insert a few more.
Thanks for the support, guys!
