"Install Problem"

Post by neutrino »

I'v already got X2, but several! momths back, I decided to give X3 a look at,
I don't recall exactly what went wrong, but I chose to uninstall and stick with "2".

recently and who-knows-why.... whenever I Right-Click on a Drive -
up pops "Windows will now configure X3 install" or words to that effect !
I just cancel it out! I'v got it down to the point now where a right click on a
drive letter - just pops up the window for a sec and it disappears...

But what on earth is triggering this off ?!?!?!
and how can I stop it completely ?
I'v been through the syste, and as far as can tell I'v deleted all remnants of X3,
and made sure it Is completely uninstalled.....

why should a right-click on a drive letter trigger an install anyway!?

Hi Neutrino,

I'm Abiel from Corel Support. If you are getting the message "Windows will now configure X3 install" whenever you right click on C Drive, you may still have installer files of PSP X3 on your computer. To make sure that you properly remove all related files for PSP X3, I suggest that you manually remove the program. They have a great steps on this forum. You can follow the steps from this link.
