Really confused with the software (X3)

Hi,

I just purchased VideoStudio Pro X3 and I am really confused with it.

How do I know that my installation is the latest version? I don't see any information about version or update or servicepack

Where to get all the updates (themes, etc.)? I saw some sticky threads in this forum about "GetMore", but I found nothing referenced in the software. Is there any easy way to get all of those officially?

Is there any 64 bit version? I am using Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on 64 bit hardware, but the X3 installer is installed as 32 bit (checked via Task Manager) ...

Welcome to the forum.

Seems a little strange but the “get more” options seem to take a few days to appear.
But……….
To the top right of Video Studio X3 is a small round icon, Help and Product information, selecting will open another window, explore this window.
To the top right of this window is another round icon, a cogwheel, select “Check for Updates”

The installation of the update patch will then allow you to upload and install the DVD Movie Factory 7SE. This is the authoring program you should use to burn a DVD.

Where can I see the "GetMore" option (if I got it after few days)? So, I can check it every day!

From the product page, I saw "Service Pack1" and then "SmartSound update" as well.

Do I need all of those?

After installation, I got that "Install Update" and the DVD MovieFactory 7SE was installed.

Hi

Installing Service Pack1 then DVD MovieFactory 7SE and SmartSound update will get you up to date with the software.

There are other templates that can be added, Titles etc, you will see the circular icon when using some of the templates, no need to rush, take your time to explore the programs features.
