Post by link_xue »

Hi all,
This is Link Xue from China. :D :D
One thing needs your kind help. I am using VS X3 and recently have a problem with it. At the time moive created there are couple clips in dark but they were ok when I edited them in the project status. Any advise from you experts will be highly appreciated.

This happens to me sometimes, too. It seems to happen at random, for no apparent reason.
This workaround usually fixes the problem for me:
1. Exit VSX3 without saving the current project.
2. Restart VSX3 and reload the project.
Sometimes this doesn't work and I have to start the project over from scratch.

BTW, my video files are DV AVI, NTSC.

Hope this helps,
Uncle Boo

Hi

Does VS give any error messages, if not……Then I assume them to be frames within your video……..

How long does the dark section last, a few frames, a few seconds.?

Make a note of where this occurs. Then open the project, navigate to this point, “zoom-in” to the timeline to view frames. See if you can find these frames.

You could try switching to Storyboard view to see if you can identify the frames.
