I in tend to buy a SONY HDR-CX150. The literature says that for SONY Picture Manager software which is provided Win 7 Premium 64 bit is not supported !
(I know that sounds unbelievable in that most new machine come with that64 bit version).
Anyone know if my VS Pro X3 will import from that camcorder ?

As with all hard drive cameras you will not 'import' videos to VideoStudio - you will connect the camcorder by USB cable and your computer will see it as a removable drive so the procedure is :-
with the camera connected to your computer and switched on make sure you are in 'Edit' mode then right click on the timeline and choose 'Insert Video' and then browse to the 'removable' drive which will be your camera - select the videos in your camera - click 'open' and your video will appear in the timeline.
I actually prefer to copy the videos using Windows explorer from the 'removable drive' to my hard drive first and then use the 'insert video' from there - that way I know the file is on my hard drive which makes subsequent operations much quicker and easier. - just use drag and drop from removable drive to hard drive.
There is nothing magic about 'importing' - it is just another word for transferring and thats what you do with every hard drive camcorder.
