keep aspect ratio for photos

Post by dmz »

Greetings,
I have added some photos using the option "keep aspect ratio". However, when the project has been rendered to 16:9 it has stretched the photos. How can I force X2 to "keep aspect ratio"?

Cheers

Once again as in your other post you are using language which puzzles me - is your project set for 16:9 - are your photos 16:9

If the project is 16:9 and the photos are 16:9 then rendering to 16:9 will not cause distortion - if on the other hand you are putting indeterminate format photos into a 4:3 project and then rendering as 16:9 some distortion must occur.

Set your project properties for 16:9 and put you photos in using the keep aspect ratio option - yes if your photos are not 16:9 your photos will have black borders top/bottom and/or both sides - but unless your photos are a true 16:9 that is what must happen if you do not want distortion - you cannot fill the wide screen with them if they are not wide screen to start with..
