Have you tried it?
Well I have to now. Previously I hadnt used photos and just tweaked the text for it to work.
Is there a format better than mpeg which is better to upload for youtube or doesnt it really matter?
Cheers

p.s.ive decided to create a new thread specifically for youtube.
As Jeff says Non Square Pixel Rendering should be selected for all your normal work.
But there is some instances when this has to be turned off.
First of all can you confirm that after Share Create Video File-DVD and using Non Square Pixel Rendering that you create a good looking video file. (Mpeg 2) The images, text and video show as being in proportion and in the correct positions.
This could be used to burn a DVD.Uploading this directly to You Tube would be ok, (providing its under 2 Gb). I believe Jeff uses Mpeg 2 files to upload to the internet.
If however you wished to create other formats, Flash for instance, does not use Non Square Pixel Rendering.
First create the Mpeg 2 file. Then converting the Mpeg 2 to flash will show a black band as part of the video, disabling Non Square will get rid of the band.
If you are using widescreen 16:9 then you will have to use the Custom option.
I have created a few samples with and without Non Square, uploaded to you tube.
You can clearly see the additional black bar when creating Flash.
The Mpeg 2 works just fine.
