Ken, thanks so much for your reply and info on programs you use to capture. The scene splitting would be most helpful. Also thanks for clearing up that my computer should work fine. It must have been something else that made the video go black about half way thru 1 hour of HD capture but left the audio ok, a mystery. Really appreciate your help.
