I have this video of "Amnesia: Dark Decent", a pc game. It's a let's play with my commentary. The problem is when I made it, the castle it takes place in is too dark to see anything, even darker than what I was seeing (and even that was dark). It's not good enough footage to upload as is, so will someone tell me if Corel Studio can fix this problem?
I'm not a video wizard, so all I know how to do is clip a video and change its format. errr....do I increase lighting, or gamma, or brightness? is it even possible to salvage? lol---I know nothing.
thanks for the help.

Re: Need to fix "dark video"
VS has various video filters that may help, but I wouldn't expect miracles.

Re: Need to fix "dark video"
As Jeff pointed out, there are several filters to choose from that can help. It will take experimenting to find the right combination. Don't worry, non-linear video editing, is non-destructive to your original source video. So drag it to the time-line, then add a filter, make some adjustments through the customize dialogs, and see if it is helping. If not maybe try something else. You might also try the Color Correction, found on the Video Tab, which has the Brightness, Contrast and Gamma controls. Try various settings, to reset all you need to do is click the curved arrow to reset all, or double-click on a specific slider.
