A cue point is simply a spot you want to mark so that you can easily find it in relation to inserting something else. For instance, if you want to insert a dramatic piece of background music at a particular spot, you could insert a cue point where you would later start the music. Or you could use it to indicate where an overlay on another track might later be inserted. A chapter point, on the other hand, relates to the final DVD or disc, and is what your remote control on your player looks for if you want to jump along in a video as you are playing it back.

Thanks for the answer. The manual doesn't even have cue in the glossary.
I read one post stated that the chapter point put in in Video Studio did not transfer to his Bluray. Is that still a problem? I did not see a definitive answer. ( I have not tried putting chapters in the project yet. I usually do it in the burner software but would rather do it in the project if it works)

To be honest, I don 't know the answer to the question about chapter points inserted in the Editor. I have always inserted chapters as part of the menu-building in the burning process too, and it certainly always works there!
