Hello,
I used VideoStudio Pro X3 to create a project and I created 30 chapters, but when I create the output video file (Blu-Ray NTSC H.264 1920x1080), the chapter information is not retained, so all I have is one big video file and don't have the ability to skip to other chapters. I reviewed the help file for creating chapters and I did everything according to the instructions, so I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Chapters not created in VideoStudio Pro X3 output file

Re: Chapters not created in VideoStudio Pro X3 output file
NOTE - I'm not working with HD yet, so I don't know all the details...
Did you go through the process of authoring the disc (with Movie Factory) or did you simply burn a Blu-Ray compatible file onto a disc?
If you haven't done so, you're going to need to make a disc with the proper structure including a BDMV folder, etc., etc. (Here is some information about the file/folder structure you should find on your disc when you're done.)

Re: Chapters not created in VideoStudio Pro X3 output file
First...Welcome to the forums,
We need to now what program you used to create your disc? Was it DVD Factory Pro 2010 or DVD MovieFactory 7SE? VS X3 does not have the ability to author or burn discs. In DVD MovieFactory 7SE, the Auto Add Chapters, did you select Auto Scene Detection? Auto Scene Detection should detect the chapter marks that you placed in VS. At least it does with Standard Def. If you named/labeled your chapters, those will not be recognized. This has been a long standing problem with VS and DVD MovieFactory for years. However it should see your chapter marks as scenes.
