Video Studio - Create Movie Error

Video Studio - Create Movie Error
I ran Video Studio Express 2010 ok for 6 months then it started playing up. I can import from my HD Camcorder but whenever I click create movie the program crashes. I upgraded to Video Studio Pro X3 but the problem still persists. I have checked for software upgrades for my video card. Any advice? I have a backlog of videos now I need to process.
