TV tuner/Capture card

I am a newbie to DVD Movie factory and am using a trial version before I purchase it. My problem is that I tried to record straight to dvd from my tvtuner card, but the screen shows no picture; just snowy blank screen.
I am using ATI All-in-wonder 9600.
In the drop down box for the capture source , it shows ATI Rage Theater Video capture and no other options....
would appreciate any help/suggestions

sounds like its recording from the aerial tuner and not the video input

if you go down to the advanced options on the capture video screen (make sure its viewable with the arrows on the right pointing up).

Then go to the "video and audio capture property settings", the window opens up and change the "input source" to "video composite" or "video S-video" depending on how its connected.

you should now see the picture going into the AIW
