Awful window colours

Post by jaydax »

I've been using PSP X and earlier versions since the Jasc version 4.
As a Windows 7 user I was constantly irritated by it's incompatibility and recently downloaded Version X3.
It seems OK but there is one awful change since Version X that I simply can't live with unless it can be changed by a setting I can't find. The black/dark grey window background and white text. This is a simply awful idea - on par with Microsoft's Clippy in Office. I find it most unpleasant. Dingy and hard to read. A negative version would be far more acceptable.

Can this window colour be changed? Even if it involves a registry change.

Well I don't agree that it's terrible but that's just because it's easier on my eyes.

Somewhere on the forums is a link to a hack for changing the window colors. But if you would just like to get the original color scheme back you can turn off the graphite workspace. Just go up to the view menu.

View->Use Graphite Workspace Theme

That will turn off the dark color options.
