Hey guys,
I am using VS Pro X2. There is a problem with batch conversion. When I export the videos individually using "share", I get a good quality output, but when I export the same video using "batch convert", the quality degrades, for example the title gets blurry. I am using the exact same output setting in both situations:
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 640 x 480, 30 fps
Frame-based
MPEG-4 SP Video: 2000 Kbps
44100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 128 Kbps
Any ideas?
Thank you!

I may be misunderstanding what you are trying to say, but why are you using batch convert to convert an already edited video?. If you are converting the same file again and again you will loose quality.

Re: Low Quality Output with Batch Convert
Sorry for the late reply.
I considered that batch convert can be used as batch export, so I added projects and not final output files. And there's where the output quality of a project is different; when exported using share or when using batch convert.

Hi
What options did you select from Share-Create Video File that produced the good video? Did you use the Custom approach or the standard templates?
I have just compared both options and the result seems the same.
Just to re-check your settings, Right click each converted video and select properties, are they the same?

Re: Low Quality Output with Batch Convert
Have got the exactly same problem with VS Pro X3. The "batch Convert" gives us very poor WMV files. We indeed used customised WMV option for the output, but does that matter?

Re: Low Quality Output with Batch Convert
I am originally a mac user. I tried several video editing software on PC and I landed on Corel. After some time, I went back to iMovie, as it seemed more user friendly in some aspects.
Thanks for the replies and helps.
