Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me I have reinstalled my video pro x 3 too my new HB touch smart and can't figure out why when I drop a video in timeline do I get a black border on the left and right hand side of the video when I want it and full screen like it did on my old PC. I select the ratio 16:9 thinking that might have but it doesn't so I'm wondering if anyone can help me change the settings so that when I do drop a video it will be in full screen in the preview window as well as DVD copy. I am willing to try any steps you may offer me to fix this or can it be fixed?

Hello and Welcome.
Please bear with me if I ask a basic question first - are you sure the video you are inserting is a 16:9 format video - I ask because my first thought from your description of the problem is that you have put a 4:3 video in a 16:9 project.
you mention re=installing VS X3 - do I assume all was well with the preview before the re-install, are you fairly competant with X3
