Video Studio 11 Plus and Windows 7
My new PC runs under Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Can I install and successfully run my copy of Video Studio 11 Plus? if not, would installing it in Windows XP Mode be likely to work?

Re: Video Studio 11 Plus and Windows 7
Many thanks for the reply. I have taken on board the comments from Ken Berry in your link and I will not even attempt to run it directly under Win 7. However, I decided to give it a go in Windows XP Mode. It installed successfully and a small test DVD played without problem in my DVD player. In the final stage of the VideoStudio process there were no burners listed in the device box (which did not surprise me). As I always first create an ISO file and then burn this to DVD with something like ImgBurn (a tip I got from this forum years ago) this is not a problem.
A further question, if I may. My version of VideoStudio 11 is 11.0.0157.0 Plus. Are then any updates or patches that I should apply? A search on the Corel site found only HotFix 01 (which seems to be for solving installation problems) and Power Pack (which contains things I probably won't need - I'm not processing HD files or doing anything fancy).
