Background Music and Motion Menus in MF3

Post by Sessomy »

Hi

It seems that menu background Music and Motion Menu are linked so that you can your background music olnly lasts as long as your motion menu is set for! (10, 20, 30 secs)

Is there any way round this apart from turning of motion menu, so that the whole piece of music plays??

Im using MF3.
Is it different with M54???

Thanks

Hi,

If your music is 125 seconds, you'll need 125 seconds of video menu content, too.

Thanks for the reply Mike.

The problem is is that as far as I can see you can only have menu content of 10,20 or 30 seconds though.

Is it the version I've got??

Hi Stuey,

Blast it! Sorry, I do *most* of my DVDs in DVDWS2 where there are options for time on menu.

I can't see where one can do that MF4. It might be there, but it isn't obvious t me.

I apologize for my confusion.

In MF3, the manual says you can have motion for 10, 20, or 30 seconds.

In MF4, the manual says you can have motion menus ranging from 1 to 30 seconds.

So I guess 30 seconds is the max for MF3 or MF4, but with MF4 you aren't limited to exactly 10, 20, or 30 seconds (i.e. you can have 12 seconds etc...).
