I must be doing something wrong but PLEASE help...
I have VSProX3 and DVDMovieFactory7SE. I have used both successfully for making standard definition (4:3) movies and slideshows. Now I have a flipvideo camcorder which saves its files in 1280x720mgp4 format. I can take these and add them to a movies and include pictures to make a combination slide show with video and render the whole thing via VSProX3 to a mpg2 format at 1280x720 and is about 3.9GB. The result plays perfectly on my pc. Now I want to put it on a DVD for my friend. I tried to use DVDmf7SE, even with no menu, and it seems to work, at least to the last step. I want to "burn" the files to the HD on the computer to check it out before burning on a DVD. The programs lets me select the folder and then it seems to work for awhile. After about 7 minutes, it gets about 3% completed and then I get an error about vusual C++ runtime. I have attached a screen shot which shows the error on top of the MF screen.
If I create the whole project at 4:3 standard definition, the pictures look OK but the video, which is wide as mentioned above, shows with the large black bars on the top and bottom. The file I reacted at 1280x720, shows the pictures with small black bars on the sides but the video is full screen with no bars.
All I want to do is burn the mpg file as mentioned above so it will play via a DVD player in widescreen mode. How can I do this?
Thanks for the help.
