Why does Organizer "hide" ??
I'm now trying X3, after using X2 for quite a while. I've always used the Organizer to open files. When I'm done editing, and I save/close, I always liked having the Organizer visible again, so I can choose the next picture. In X3, I have to hit the "Organizer" button again. I don't see the benefit of this. Why hide? Why inhibit workflow?

I know what you mean....to a point. I never actually used the organizer in any version. Sadly their "workflow" portion of the help files doesn't really answer this question.
However, they still have the photo-tray (or media-tray) so you can select multiple photos that you want to edit and add them to the media-tray palette from inside the organizer. This will allow you to have the functionality of selecting from the tray at the bottom for the next photo you want to edit. However, it requires you to know which ones you want to edit.
I believe the whole idea was to improve workflow, not inhibit it, by making organizer and express edit functions far more accessible and workable.

Re: Why does Organizer "hide" ??
Well, as far as I am concerned the "feature" of hiding the organizer is a bust. At least for me, it has made working a bit harder....but now I open the folder containing my files and drag them into an open PSP...... hopefully they won't remove "drag and drop" as a "feature" in the next release
Adverts for Corel products when you close PSP don't bother me.

You may try Faststone Image Viewer as a work around. You can set up PSP as the default external editor. Then when you select images and then press the e on your keyboard (for edit I'd assume) PSP then opens the image. As an image viewer Faststone is, well, fast.
Corel are you paying attention here? People are looking elsewhere for solutions that previous versions have done automatically. Don't give us bloatware.
