I love pro X3 but there is on "thing" that happens all the time that drives me up a wall, frustrates me no end and makes we want to curse.
When I click on the right side of a clip, it always jumps back to the beginning of the clip! If I clicked on the right side of the clip, I wanted the mouse to stay there, not go back to the beginning of the clip.
I can not figure out how to turn this aggravating feature off. I know I can click on the time line and I believe the curser will stay (like on the right side of the clip), but not when I click the clip itself.
Is there anyway to turn this off so the curser stays where you clicked in in the clip?
Thanks
Bob

Re: Most frustrating part of Pro X3
As far as I am aware, there is no way to turn off that feature. But with some minor practice, you can easily avoid it happening. If you want the mouse to stay exactly where you click it, then do NOT click the mouse in the clip, but in the 'ruler' space immediately above the timeline where the time duration is shown. To make it even more obvious, when you do that, the mouse cursor changes from a four-pointed crossed arrow to a mouse icon with a two pointed arrow to its immediate left. Move that any direction in that 'ruler'/duration section, and click and the point that also appears in that area will stop where you click it. Clicking in the clip area is only ever going to select the entire clip. But logically, if you are wanting to select a particular duration spot, you click in the duration area...
