hello,
I am using 8.5 (I know it is old) for 6 years with no trouble at all. I use this at work for our factory procedures and it has worked very well. It is not a complicated useage. This morning out of nowhere when I edit an "arrow" to lengthen it or widen it...I cannot do it seperate. The whole arrow gets bigger. In some photos I need a skinny arrow or longer but narrow arrow and it will not do this as of this morning. Up to today it worked perfect...now I cannot edit either longer or wider as a seperate edit function within the same edit window...I rebooted...and looked for a setting but found nothing different except the way it works.
What happened and how do I get this back to what it was.

Re: PhotoImpact edit tool arrow adjustment
I don't have PI 8.5, these screenshots are from PI X3, hopefully they will be somewhat close. Do you have an attributes toolbar when you select the Line/Arrow tool? If so try clicking on the Line Width to change it.
Also select the Transform tool, then check to see if the padlock on the attribute toolbar is locked. If so unlock it to make separate adjustments to the height and width.
