A Yahoo Bot...or any bot (e.g.any search engine bot). Are little robots that travel through the entire internet updating information for search engines. They then report back any updates so that search engines always report back up to date info when you and me do searches in the internet.

Actually it was quite Quiete then Ken at the moment it reads

BrianCee, Google [Bot], MSN [Bot], Rollason, tinman2207, UncleBoo, Yahoo [Bot]

but I have seen up to 6 'Bots' all beavering away - collecting information to put into all the search engines - sometimes information you post on here can be found in a Google search minutes after you typed it.

Don't worry they are not collecting information about you - just about the forums - could be construed as a good thing since any one dooing a search using one of those search engines will receive info directing them to the forum.
