PSP X3, Mesh Warp troubles

Post by df »

I can't seem to do anything with the Mesh Warp tool when trying to move more than one node point. Holding the Ctrl or Shift keys while trying to move anything at all results in no movement. This happens to me on two different computers. Is this a bug? I didn't find anything using the search for this forum.

Do you hold down the keys before clicking on the node? I would imagine so as those keys only make a difference just before you click on the node. It's something I kept forgetting for a while.

But otherwise they work perfectly for me so I can't say if what you're experiencing is a bug or not.

OK, upon further inspection it would appear that if I have less vertical and horizontal mesh lines it works as it should. Maybe my 4 gigs of RAM (on this computer) is not enough memory.

How large is your image? It must be very big because I only have 3GB, but Corel can only take 2GB at any one time, and at the maximum number of 31 nodes I'm still able to operate it like normal. Though admittedly the image size is only 1MB compressed. 2048x1530. I'd like to know for future reference though.

My cameras are 10mp and 4.15mp, but I must have had over 50 nodes. 8 across and 7 down. I guess that's just too much for what I was doing. The action would show up on the history palette but nothing would move. Decreased to 4 across 5 down and works fine.
