Hello,
After rendering a Video file, I have tried to create a DVD video disk. The Corel DVD Factory has been opened and the Media Organizer window was empty so there was nothing to drag to the Media Tray in order to continue the process.
This is the first time that I am using the VS PRO X3 Program, I was using the VS 10+ succellfuly for several years.
Any help will be appreciate.
Thank you,
Abraham

Unless you are using the trial version, download DVD Movie Factory 7SE. It should show in the Get More or Do More function. If you do wish to use the worthless DVD Factory Pro 2010, then you must first import your clips into the Organizer.
Hover your mouse over the Import menu, and the fly-out menu will appear. Then select one of the mediums where your clips are found. The following dialog window will open, where you can navigate to the location of your clips.

Re: VS PRO X3 - Creating Video Discs
Thank you Ron,
I am using the full version (downloaded), not the trial one. As I see the DVD Factory Pro 2010 is already included in the program.
My problem is when the DVD Factory is opened I can see the the window with the Import menu which appears in the picture in your reply, but there is not any response upon hover or click the mouse on the import menu and immedeately this window is closed and the Create Video Disk window in which I have to select the project name, style, etc. is opened. Afterwards when I click the "Select Photos and Videos" I get the Media Organizer window which is totally empty without any possibility to add media files to the media tray.
Looking forward for your kindly help,
Abraham

Hi
Do not use DVD Factory Pro 2010, the program is practically useless.
In recognition of this, Corel has provided DVD Movie Factory 7SE as a free replacement.
The download should be available from X3.
If the updates do not automatically show, select the circular icon top right.
From the new window again select the circular cogwheel top right-check for updates.
Installing one of the patches will give access to the Movie Factory 7SE download.
By the way, DVD Movie Factory 7se is very similar to the authoring module in VS 10.

Re: VS PRO X3 - Creating Video Discs
Thank you Trevor,
I have successfully installed the Movie Factory 7SE, but unfortunately when I am using it in the step of writing titles to the chapters, I get the message "A Problem Caused the Program to Stop Working..."
What else can I do? I consider to make my disk with my VS10 program.
Regards,
Abraham

Re: VS PRO X3 - Creating Video Discs
As I wrote before, the MF SE7 has been crushed each time when I was typing titles to the chapters, I have done it in the Hebrew language. Afterwards, I have tried to type it in English and the program worked well. I was not sure that this is the reason for the previous crashes so I tried it again in another project and it also worked well, so I hope that it will be also O.K. in my future projects.
I would like to thank again to Ron and Trevor for their very helpful tips.
Much regards to this wonderful Forum.
