Hi guys: 
I have the same problem and i'm running Sp2 too
The issues are on trial and full versions.
As i can see at the error report, there is some kind of issue with ffdshow.ax
Any suggestions

Without more info I can't say what the problem might be, but to respond to you MarceloM.
I am running SP2 and the Full Version of PI10 and it does not have or has not installed ffdshow.ax on the drive anywhere, although I have a ton of other ax codex in System32 folder.
Perhaps SP2 uninstalled or deleted that file from when it upgraded SP1, I couldn't check the Uninstall Cab as I deleted it to make room on the hard drive.

There is supposed to be a newer released version as of 3'28'05.

The reason I asked the previous questions is because some people have been getting the Trial Version, or the Download, buy the Upgrade or Full and try to install over the existing, causing compatibility problems.
If you have the Full and did not have a previous version installed before you installed GA, you should not be having a problem with GA. Instead something has interfered with your install and crippled product activity. Many reasons for a bad install exit, such as a badly fragmented hard drive, especially on a non NTFS volume, i.e. Fat32x.
Another factor plaguing people is the XP SP2 updates, Internet Firewall Blockers, and Anti-Virus software that can prohibit successful installation by blocking a programs ability to write Keys to the Registry or copy files to a sensitive Folder becasue it dosen't meet Sucurity Standards. All of these features have to be turned off during installation, especially if you are using the product called Zone Alarm.
Before you make a reinstall attempt you must delete the two Ulead System Folders to insure that no configuration or damaged installed files remain that could prohibit your reinstallation. Many threads can be found on this Forum concerning Installation problems and methods to reinstall under favorable conditions the software having problems.
As you can see Diagnosing a problem is not easy, takes time, lots of questions, and sometimes several attempts at installation before success.

If you bought GA as an add-on with PhotoImpact, then there is a patch for PI, but I am not certain it makes any changes to GA. Go here for the PI patch. If you don’t have PI installed don’t get this patch, it could damage your installed GA.

I have Win XP SP3 and it works just fine on my computer, no problems at all, and on my Windows NT 4 SP6, Windows ME, and on my Windows 95B, but it doesn’t work on my Windows 3.1 or DOS 6.22 for some reason.
Say! are you an old Ulead programmer out of work??
and no, I´m not a programmer, but I will never buy a soft that has not been updated since 2002!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! soft too old for the competitive market.

I think I am beginning to like you, you are very predictable.
It is always the consumer’s prerogative to buy or not to buy based on any whim they may have. However, just because software is dated as old is a bad excuse over which to judge software. I am still using Adobe Photoshop 7 “ancient history” with files from 2000 and up. But, I works very well for me and I have no reason to discard it just because it is OLD. How many other people are still have a favorite game on their computer from 1996!
Just because a few people are not able to get GA to work out of the 100, 000 or more copies that have been sold, does not indicate bad, or old software!
