In proof mode under CM I can't see histograms, the color sample in the eyedropper tool, the colors displayed in other tools or pallets elsewhere, etc. Match is OK as is Picture Intent. Turning CM off everything is OK.
It seems it worked before in proof mode.
I also was in a folder where the presence of a non-compatible Windows .jpg (not the one I was working on) caused CM printing utility QImage to crash requiring its preferences to be reset.
I use a Color Munki to create printer profiles. Anybody experience anything similar?
Defective ICM effect on color dialog?

Re: Defective ICM effect on color dialog? - Workaround
Resolved the following work around:
After downloading some color profile utilities from the ICC Committee web site, I found icm version 2 printer profiles fully in proof mode displayed all color tool dialogs correctly. The problem profiles I had created with Color Munki I specified as V4 which should be compatible with Windows XP SP3. I had no problem with QImage using V4 profiles. I recreated in Color Munki the same media profiles as V2 and all worked correctly.
Unless someone can tell me differently, I think I'd consider this a bug in the display coding at least for dialog boxes containing colors and histograms.
