Way to Lock Features?
I keep trying different ways but I am failing. Is there a way to "lock" together videos with their respective titles & music within a project? It is frustrating to have to re-synch everything after adding in a new video clip to the project. Thanks!

Ripple Editing is the only lockable type in VS. However it applies only to the Main video track. So if you have a clip in the Main track, a clip in an overlay track, a title, and a music clip, you can lock the overlay, title, and music to the Main video track. In doing so, when you insert another clip to the left of a clip in the Main video track, all those will slide to the right, staying aligned with the Main video track.
It does not work for any other track. So if you're just using overlay tracks, Ripple Editing will not work. It does not work if you are trying to lock a title to a clip in one of the overlay tracks. It does not work if you want to lock an audio/music clip to a photo or video clip in one of the overlay tracks. It applies only to the Main Video Track.

Re: Way to Lock Features?
That is correct. Depending on the project I sometimes only use overlay tracks. To get around the Ripple Editing only in the main track restriction I will put a color clip(s) in the main track and manipulate that (lengthening, shortening, cutting, etc.) to make Ripple Editing work in the overlay tracks. It does not work for any other track.
