DMF 7 Pro Hangs when creating AVCHD Disk

I have used every version of DMF since 2.0, with few problems. I just installed DMF 7 Pro and I am unable to create a ACVHD Disk. The program just stalls/hangs at 3% (Converting Audio) and never moves on. I was able to use the same source video files (Canon HD Camera) and create a standard Resolution DVD with no problem. I am able to create AVCHD disk using other applications (Cyberlink Power Director, MultiAVCHD etc) with the exact same source files.

I have installed Patches 1 and 2 and still no luck does anyone have any ideas?

What is strange is that CPU utilization by DVDMF.exe stays very high even though the program never continues.

Since you have never filled in your profile details, we have no idea of what type of computer you are using. And you also don't tell us what kind of camera exactly you are using apart from its being a Canon. But is it high definiton HDV or AVCHD?

You also don't tell us anything about your exact workflow, or what editing you have done.

With that sort of information, or lack of it, no one is going to be able to help much...

Here's the details - Sorry I thought they were in my profile.

My Computer : Dell 5150 Dual Core, 3 GB Ram, Windows XP Media Centre Edition SP3, Lots of Disk Space
Camera : Canon HFS100, does AVCHD

I have two aprox 10 minute videos, I have added both to DMF 7, and created a default menu, if I create a standard def disk there is no problem, when I switch the project to an AVCHD disk it hangs at 3% during "converting audio".

Video in Question: H.264 UFF, 24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 16:9, 16000 VBR, Dolby Audio - 48000Hz @ 256kbps

I used the exact same two source videos in PowerDirector and MultiAVCHD to create AVCHD disks with no problem so I know the source videos are ok.

I have discovered that this only hangs if I have "Normalize Audio" checked.

The glitch associated with 'Normalize Audio' was noticed some time back, but I don't think there was ever a solution, and certainly there was no fix from Corel, IIRC. I guess the 'simple' answer, then, is not to use Normalize Audio. I personally have never had the need to use it, and thus have never had this particular problem with my AVCHD discs...

I guess if I need to I can fix the audio outside of DMF.

This seems to be a theme though were bugs are never fixes with Corel (Ulead) software.
