I started to upgrade from Pro9 to ProX2, but discovered the thumbnails in the ProX2 Organizer can not be moved to rearrange them into some meaningful order (also true in ProX3, says tech support). The Browser in Pro9 lets you drag a thumbnail to anywhere you want in the view of that folder. How can you manage your editing if you can not put the edited photos next to the originals? Or how can you manage a collection of, say, vacation photos, if the Tues. and Weds. sunrise photos are separated by the dozens of photos you took during the day on Tuesday? In my opinion, arranging the thumbnails for a folder in an order of your own choosing is an absolutely essential function. Without this function, ProX2 seems unusable to me.
So, how do people cope with this problem? I have not seen any comments on this anywhere, so I feel I must be missing something really obvious. Is there some other function in ProX2 that lets me arrange the thumbnails in the order I choose and then select and open photos?
It is also worth noting that with the Pro9 Browser, after you have arranged the thumbnails in the order you want, you duplicate it on another computer by simply copying the pspbrwse.jbf file.
It seems ironic that the Pro9 Browser lets you organize your photos in a meaningful sequence while the ProX2 Organizer limits you to browsing photos in a limited set of generally irrelevant sequences like alphabetical and chronological.
Thanks for any suggestions on how to cope with the loss of function in the ProX2 Organizer.

Re: Rearranging Images in the ProX2 Organizer
Well I never use the organizer, but I hardly think taking a few seconds to the photo you want makes something un-usable. Rather it makes it so that you don't want to use it.
In most cases I've seen on the forums since I've been here I can narrow down the top options to three:
1) Suck it up and use what you've been given
2) Don't use the organizer, just use Windows Explorer
3) Get a real photo-organizer and use that.
None of them are exceptionally useful, of course. And I'm sorry that this is all I can offer. But I have not found the organizer overly useful for any of the things I do.
Also the common feelings that I have found, and could be wrong about, suggest that both organizers in past versions and actual dedicated organizers are better than the current organizers used in Paint Shop Pro.
