Can I create a disc without menus on X3
Hello I've been a X2 user and now trying out the X3 trial full version. When I create disc with my X2 I have the option to check or uncheck "create a menu" and I do not use any menu features since I do music videos. On the X3 when I click "create disc", dvd movie factory opens and I cannot find anywhere that I can check or uncheck "create a menu". Am I looking in the wrong place to get the option up to not use menus or does the X3 not offer this option. Thanks........

Since your using the trial version, you must mean when DVD Factory Pro 2010 opens up.... That is completely different than DVD MovieFactory. Sadly with that sorry excuse for a DVD authoring app, there is no means to create a DVD without a menu. Corel does however provide DVD MovieFactory 7SE, free to all purchased and registered users of VS Pro X3. This becomes available through their integrated Do More function.

Hello Ron, sorry I wrote the wrong thing down, you were right, DVD factory. I wonder why they did this. It makes it limited to this option. On the DVD MovieFactory 7SE, is it available to burn to disc without having to use any menus. I do music videos on youtube and pass out my dvd music videos and not wanting the hassle of my viewers having to deal with the menu deal. I may have to stay with X2 or look at the current competitors versions. Thanks for the info..

Yes DVD MovieFactory 7SE, you do have the option to use or not use menus. However one other option is to create your video files in VS X3, then open VS X2, and use it's burn module to burn your DVDs. In fact there are some members that use Nero or some other program just to author and burn DVDs. There's really no concrete reason to have just one program to do it all. It takes several different tools to work on a car...

Hi Eddie
Just to add,
DVD Movie Factory 7 is very, very similar to the authoring section used for X2
