VideoStudio X3 keep crashing for complex AVCHD project

Post by Ronle »

Hello all,
yes i know there are similar post like this , but i have different case. (i use the search button and read all the posts about similar problem without any success)

i have canon camcorder HF11(NTSC), i import my films by using the S/W that was included.
i create simple project that contain two .m2ts files and create a new AVCHD file by using 'share->same has first video clip'
NTSC drop frame (29.97 fps)
MPEG files
24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 29.97 fps
Upper Field First
(HDMV-NTSC), 16:9
H.264 Video
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 16000 kbps)
Audio data rate: 160 kbps
Dolby Digital Audio, 48 KHz, 2/0(L,R)

So far so good - I've successfully make a new AVCHD file

But when i try a "complex" project that contain about 16 .m2ts files and about 40 jpeg file and use some text and built in effects, the X3 crash after 2% and not responding.
yes - i try to un-check the smart rendering box

P.S - when i use the same project for DVD format, i had no problem.

thanks for the help
