Problem with animated objects

I am using dvd workshop 2 with the latest patches installed. I am running windows xp with sp1.

I have all my assets ready. I've added the mpeg files and background image. I want to add animated objects to the buttons but i can't as this option is not there!

I click on "button" at the top. Then go to the assets bit at the bottom and open up the drop down menu; the option to select animated object menu is not there. If i then go to library manager i can see that animated objects/general is available as a custom folder but i can't select it!

Any ideas about this bug?

Bug?

In the Menu Tab, select Button, then look in the Bin named *Animated Objects.*

I'm not saying it doesn't exist nor debating where it "should" be.
As you can see from my screenshot it isn't there.

Any ideas why? Or how it can be remedied?

What OS and software version are you using?

Turns out the installation setup is buggy!

I reinstalled it to default folder this time which didn't work. Then i repaired it by reinstalling over it. But then it wouldnt start. So i then patched it, which worked.

I can know play with animated buttons
